Lead technical domains within the team, oversee engineering metrics, make architectural decisions, and facilitate technical discussions. Involved in various phases of software development life cycle including technical design, implementation, testing, and release. Maintain and improve existing applications' accuracy and performance.
Requisitos
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
- (Senior) 5-8 years, (Staff) 8-12 years of experience developing production-critical software. Experience with workflow-based systems is a plus.
- (For Staff Engineer) Leading technical domains within the team, overseeing engineering metrics, making architectural decisions, and facilitating technical discussions.
Skills
- Strong understanding of software concepts, design patterns, refactoring, and automated testing.
- Excellent communication skills in English, able to convey technical and non-technical concepts to junior team members, peers, and managers.
- Hands-on experience in building web applications and APIs using JavaScript and frameworks such as Ember.js, Backbone.js, React.js, Angular.js, or similar. (We use Ember.js.).
- Programming languages like Ruby, Go, Python, with the ability to work with Ruby and Rails.
- Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent.
- Caching technologies like Redis or similar.
