- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Automation geek: you don't like to do the same task twice manually.
- Strong shell scripting experience is required.
- Ability to debug and analyze problems quickly.
- A good understanding of large-scale distributed systems in practice, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring, and storage systems.
- Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, internet routing, and load balancing.
- Familiar with some of the following:
- Containerizing: Docker, ECS, Kubernetes.
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
- Configuration Management tools: Ansible, Chef.
- Version control systems: Bitbucket, Gitlab, Github, etc.
- Monitoring tools: Sentry, CloudWatch, Datadog, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.
- Infrastructure Provisioning: Terraform, Cloudformation
