- Strong experience in heuristic algorithm development (e.g., greedy algorithms, genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, local search, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience writing efficient, production-grade code.
- Experience in deploying algorithms in a real-world production environment (e.g., cloudbased or on-premises applications).
- Knowledge of data structures, graph algorithms, and numerical optimisation techniques.
Skills
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Dask, or Spark) is a plus.
- Experience with modern software engineering best practices: CI/CD, testing, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Excited to work on LLM-based AI solutions, with a willingness to learn and experiment with new AI techniques.
Experience
- A strong GitHub portfolio showcasing personal or side projects related to algorithm development.
- Experience in retail optimisation, logistics, or supply chain problems
