Description
We’re an ambitious startup transforming large-scale image processing, working with datasets ranging from millions to billions of images. We’re seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our core computer vision systems, including object detection, image classification, OCR, and high-throughput image pipelines.
Your Role
- Build, train, and fine-tune custom object detection and OCR models
- Develop scalable pipelines capable of processing billions of images
- Optimize models for high-throughput production deployment
- Explore and implement cutting-edge computer vision techniques

Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on computer vision experience
- Expertise in object detection frameworks such as YOLO, R-CNN, or DETR
- Proven experience in production-level PyTorch or TensorFlow projects
- Familiarity with OCR systems (Tesseract, PaddleOCR, or custom-built models)
- Experience handling large-scale, distributed image processing
- Knowledge of modern ML methods, including Transformers, self-supervised learning, and model distillation
- Skilled in Docker, distributed training, and deploying models at scale
- Strong experience with image preprocessing libraries like OpenCV, PIL, and Albumentations
- Experience generating synthetic datasets
Bonus Skills
- Experience optimizing models for edge deployment (quantization, pruning, etc.)
- Knowledge of image compression and large-scale video processing
